By downloading, installing, or using Kumo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description ​

Kumo is a cloud sync service for emulator files. Depending on your configuration, it can sync save files, save states, memory cards, BIOS files, ROM files, and related emulator data.

Account and eligibility ​

  • You must create an account to use cloud sync features.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must keep your credentials secure.
  • You must have legal rights to any files you upload or sync.

Subscriptions and billing ​

  • New accounts may receive a free trial.
  • Paid plans, limits, and pricing are shown in the app.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • You can cancel from the in-app billing portal.

Data retention and deletion ​

  • If your trial or subscription expires, sync access may be limited or disabled.
  • Data retention windows and deletion behavior are described in-app and may depend on your plan state.

Acceptable use ​

You agree not to:

  • use Kumo for unlawful activity,
  • abuse or disrupt the service,
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts,
  • upload content you do not have rights to store or transfer.

Warranty disclaimer ​

Kumo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability ​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kumo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business.

Changes to these terms ​

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version is effective when published on this page.
