Data we process

Account data

• Email address (for account creation and authentication).

Synced data

• Files you choose to sync (for example save files, states, memory cards, BIOS files, ROM files, and related emulator data).

Service and quota data

• Storage and transfer usage required to operate plans and enforce quotas.

Billing data

• Subscription status and plan metadata.
• Payment details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Kumo.

How we use data

We process data only to:

• authenticate users,
• sync and store user files,
• enforce quota and subscription limits,
• provide account and billing functionality,
• maintain service reliability and security.

Processors

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) for authentication and storage.
• Stripe for payment processing.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with processors needed to operate the service.

Retention

Data retention depends on account and subscription state. Where applicable, retention windows and deletion behavior are communicated in-app.

Security

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International processing

Data may be processed in regions where our infrastructure providers operate.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data.
